Privacy Policy

Your email address and password, or your phone number, to sign you in — we keep your password only in a scrambled form that cannot be read back, not the password itself. Your name, and an email address or phone number if you add one. Delivery addresses you save. Your cart, wishlist, and order history. If you book an At-Home Trial, the address and time slot for it. If you write a product review, its rating, text, and any photos you attach.

We never see or store your card, UPI PIN, or bank details — payment is handled entirely by PhonePe (see below). Your "Recently viewed" history stays on your device only; it is never sent to us, and we cannot see it.

To create and secure your account, take and fulfil your orders, run At-Home Trials, show your order status, and let you manage your own addresses, wishlist, and reviews. We do not use your data for anything beyond running the shop you are using.

PhonePe, to process payments and refunds — they receive what a payment needs (amount, order reference), never your Basket by SHIVA account details beyond that. Our delivery partners, to get your order to your address. Expo, to deliver push notifications to your device, if you have push enabled. Resend, to deliver the codes we email you to confirm your email address or reset your password — they receive your email address and the code. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

For as long as your account is active. Order and payment records are kept after that for as long as accounting and tax law require, because an invoice has to stay valid — but they are no longer linked to your name once you delete your account (see below).

Settings → Delete my account (in the app) permanently removes your saved addresses, wishlist, and profile details, and signs you out everywhere. Your order history is kept for our records but is anonymized — no longer linked to your name, email, or phone number. This cannot be undone, and your phone number becomes free to sign up again with fresh.

You can edit or remove your saved addresses, remove items from your wishlist, and turn push notifications and offer emails off at any time from Settings in the app. Editing your name or email is available from Settings too.
